Important Talk Submission Guidelines and Info
What makes a good Ignite Fort Collins talk?
We encourage talks that are interesting, educational, thought-provoking, and engaging. If you had five minutes to talk to Fort Collins what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds? What are you passionate about?

If you submit a talk, you are *required* to attend at least one of our Speaker Training events.
If you want a better shot at speaking at Ignite Fort Collins, avoid the 3 P’s:
-Promotion
-Pornography
-Profanity (our audience is PG13 for normal events)
If your topic is edgy, that’s OK – but we’ll ask you to speak at Ignite Fort Collins: After Dark instead!
Our audience hates nothing more than pitches from stage. If your talk has anything to do at all with how you make money, even if it’s your passion, we probably can’t accept your talk. We’ll review these on a case-by-case basis, but chances are we’ll still say no.
If you do pitch a talk, don’t buy a ticket until you hear back from the selection team. (Speakers get free tickets). However, DO encourage your friends and family to pick up their own tickets.
